LOCATION:

Washington, DC/Northern Virginia: Center for Innovative Teaching seminars will be held on the Upper School campus of Flint Hill School at 3320 Jermantown Road, Oakton, VA, 15 miles west of downtown Washington, DC.
     
San Francisco: Center for Innovative Teaching seminars will be held on the campus of The Urban School at 1563 Page Street, one block from San Francisco’s historic and unique Haight Ashbury District.


CHECK-IN:

Washington, DC/Northern Virginia: The registration desk will be open at 8 a.m. beginning Monday, June 21, through Thursday, June 24, 2010. Continental breakfast will be served each morning at 8:30 a.m. and classes begin at 9 a.m.

San Francisco: The registration desk will be open at 8 a.m. beginning Monday, July 19, through Thursday, July 29, 2010. Continental breakfast will be served each morning at 8:30 a.m. in The Urban School Student Center and classes begin at 9 a.m.


ACCOMODATIONS:
CIT attendees are responsible for making their own travel and accomodation reservations, as well as transportation arrangements.

Washington, DC/Northern Virginia: Many hotels are located very close to Flint Hill School. Two hotels in the vicinity that offer special rates for Flint Hill CIT attendees include the Comfort Inn University Center ($99/night CIT group rate) and the Courtyard Mariott Fairfax (Flint Hill rate of $119/night if reserved by May 24, 2010 - please use reference code King Guest Room: FLIFLIA
Queen/Queen Guest Room: FLIFLIB). A free shuttle will be available from both these hotels to Flint Hill.

San Francisco: Lodging within several blocks of The Urban School is available at the nearby Stanyan Park Hotel, Inn 1890 Bed & Breakfast, Red Vic Bed & Breakfast, the Metro Hotel and The Parsonage Bed & Breakfast. Other lodging is available in various locations throughout San Francisco.

MEALS:
Each session includes continental breakfast, lunch and snacks. Continental breakfast will be served each morning at 8:30 a.m. and classes begin at 9 a.m.
